    Coupling Method Precautions:

    1. No operation is required on the cable under test; simply clamp the transmitter clamp onto the cable for testing.

    2. Both ends of the cable sheath must be properly grounded; otherwise, the coupling current will decrease as the grounding resistance increases.

    3. The coupling method cannot be used if the sheath at both ends is not grounded or if the sheath is broken in the middle.

    4. When clamping the transmitter clamp into the cable, the arrow on the clamp should point towards the end of the cable.

    5. The receiver clamp and transmitter clamp must be kept at least 2 meters apart.
